Until we play the game and get her proper name or 343 goes down the lazy writing rabbit hole and just makes the normal Cortana merge together with her as a solution to her rampancy so things go back to normal. The Cortana AI would be a neat addition to the game, especially with how important she is to the franchise and how much of the multiplayer AI you hear during any given match. We may eventually get playable Elites but sorry to say it’s not a current priority or actively being worked on right now. The other thing though is that the Weapon may have chosen the new name Cortana at the end of Infinite and will most likely end up becoming more and more like the old Cortana, just this time with a warning from quite literally her old self. But if people, especially men who are more prone to color blindness (or just dont pay attention to colors for one reason or another) to say a broad category for both, most will call both purple while describing the rest as blue. I applaud your passion and gusto! But I will give it to you straight - We have a lot of fundamental issues to go after. Halo CE Cortana is more of a pinkish-purple, similar to magenta or fuchsia, while Halo 2 is closer to lavender.
